Crimestoppers Need Info on Stolen City Truck

TRUCK HAS BEEN RECOVERED
Louisville Police were called to the City Maintenance Barn located in the 400 block of Pontotoc Street on Sunday morning, April 5.  A neighboring property owner indicated that a gate to the property had been vandalized.

After inspection, it was discovered that a 2003 Ford 4-door dual wheel truck - white in color with a black dump bed had been stolen. The tag holder and tag had been removed. Later reports indicate that 4 Goodyear tires were also missing from the property.

Burglaries at Local Churches

SUSPECT IN CUSTODY!!!Winston County Crimestoppers is searching for information
concerning breaking and entering and theft at two local churches in the past week.

Louisville Police were called to Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 410 Spring Street on Saturday, April 4. The front door of the church had been pried open  and a gold colored tabernacle had been removed from the wall at the rear of the church. The tabernacle is similar to the one in the photo.

In addition, the First Baptist Church in Louisville has been broken into twice in the past week. In one instance, petty cash was taken.
