Suspect Sought by Winston CountySheriff

The Winston County Sheriff's Office is asking the public's assistance in locating Adam Shaw Devine, Jr. - Devine is a 21 year old white male wanted for questioning in a series of burglaries in the Nanih Waiya community. Devine could possibly be in the Union, Decatur or Philadelphia areas.

Reward Offered on Trailer Theft

Crimestoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in the case of a trailer theft that occurred on  May 5th in Winston County. A black enclosed 16' trailer was stolen from a property on Shuqualak Road. The trailer had some light damage to the front end.

Reward Offered for Info on Vehicle Fires

Winston County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the scene on Sylvester Hudson Road on Wednesday night where three vehicles were set on fire. It is believed the fires were set around 10:00 to 10:30 pm last night. A Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Mustang and Chevrolet truck were completely destroyed. The vehicles were all at one location and belonged to a single owner.

Winston Sheriff Seeks to Identify Suspects

The Winston County Sheriff's Office is searching for information on the identity of the individuals in the following video. On Wednesday, February 20, these individuals are suspected of shoplifting items from J &S Food store on HWY 25S in Winston County. It is also believed that the individuals returned on Thursday, February 21 at around 5:00 am and attempted to remove some implements/equipment from behind the store.
