Crimestoppers Asking for Info on December 2nd Burglaries - CAPTURED

broken into in the early morning hours on Monday, December 2nd.  Computers were taken, vending machines broken into and major damage occurred at Bakers' Ready Mix .A Church in the area and EMEPA facilities were also broken into as well. A vehicle was taken at the time but was recovered.

A suspect was recorded on camera around 1:30 am at EMEPA. Winston County Crimestoppers will pay for information leading to an arrest and conviction of a suspect in this case. Crimestoppers website

November 6th - Break -In

On 06 November 2013 officers with the Louisville Police Department were dispatched to Moody Construction Co. on South Church Ave. Sometime during the night someone made entry into the building. The inner office was broken into and the desk and cabinets were gone through. 

Several items were taken including a flat screen TV and a pressure washer. Anyone with any information on this burglary is asked to call either the Winston County Crime Stoppers or the Louisville Police Department.

Vehicle Stolen and Vandalized

The Winston County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and capturing the individual or individuals responsible for a stolen vehicle from the Shiloh community in Winston County. The white extended cab 2012 Toyota Tacoma was found submerged in Doyle Lake around 7 am on Saturday October 12, 2013. Boat Theft

The Winston County Sheriff's Office  is asking for the public's assistance in the recovery of stolen property. Sometime during the week prior to Saturday, September 28, a boat was stolen from the property at 3965 Hwy 14 East.  The boat was a  17' 2009 Bass Tracker with a 50 horsepower Mercury motor. The boat is red in color.The VIN # is BUJ02810C909 and the boat id number on the side is MI-4848.

Winston County Sheriff Seeking Fugitive

The Winston County Sheriff's Dept. is asking for help in locating Ricky Cole. Cole is a fugitive wanted in Winston County on a charge of Statutory Rape. Cole has been sought for several months but has been avoiding capture. He is known to spend time in Philadelphia, Meridian and on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Suspect Wanted in Nightclub Shooting in Winston Co.

On July 28, 2013 there was a shooting incident at a local nightclub in the New Zion community of Winston County. Karl Hopkins was shot in the arm with what was believed to be a .45 caliber pistol. The suspect in this shooting was identified by witnesses as Jamie Potts aka Jamie McBride. Investigators have been unable to locate Potts. Most Wanted

The Louisville Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating Cedric Deon Clark. AKA “Yung Bird Mane.”

Clark is wanted on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and resisting arrest by fleeing.

The Winston County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance concerning several home burglaries in the Noxapater area. In May, two homes in Winston County and one in Neshoba County were burglarized during the day. Items stolen included a large number of guns and ammunition, electronics and jewelry. The Winston County burglaries occurred on Mt.Pisgah Road and Yarbrough Carter Road. Authorities Seek Info on Early Morning Robbery 6-14

A local business owner was robbed around 4:30 this morning (6-14). Pat Cannon, owner of Northwood Grocery was approached from behind by a single suspect wearing a ski mask. A purse containing an undisclosed amount of cash and checks from the business were taken along with the victim's cell phone. Cannon was shaken but uninjured.
